i most definitely have the best set up here in Scauri. my host family is AMAZING!! and my location is the only one in this town minutes from the beach (all the other tutors are 10 to 15 minutes away)!!
today, my host mom gabriella made me a lunch for the beach, and i've been playing video games on playstation and the nintendo ds with my host brother and sister, franceso and ivana. they also took me to their grandparent's houses so i could meet gabriella and maurizo's (my host dad) parents. i also met maurizo's grandmother who is going to be 100 this october!
the other tutors for this camp seem awesome. One is from LA by way of australia, one from new york and the other two are from ireland. They are all thinking of heading down to pompeii this weekend so if i'm here for the two weeks i'm definitely going with. I may also have found someone to meet up with me in florence. I can't wait!
At camp tommorow, i'll be working with the red group (8-10 yrs). I picked a one week group since i'm not sure if i'll be here or roseto next week but we will see!! my host family really wants me to stay...i feel very loved!!
ok, back to guitar hero!!

Wow sounds like you had an adventure getting to Italy, but well worth it! That is awesome that you're so close to the beach. I can't wait to see the pictures! ~Karen
